Custom development

        We offer custom design and production of electronic equipment. Our firm has extensive experience in designing precise analogue electronics, especially ultra-low noise amplifiers with noise deeply below 1 nV/sqrtHz, ultra-low distortion circuits and oscillators with THD below 140 dB, high resolution AD and DA converters with a resolution of up to 26 bits. Our latest work involves developing various electronic components for ion selection and manipulation, including quadrupole and octupole mass filters and detectors, for the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry and its partners at the University of Paris and Synchrotron SOLEIL in France.

Examples of realised designs

  • The latest batch of instruments for the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry includes electronics for quadrupole and octupole mass filters, an eight-channel voltage amplifier with an output swing of +-400 V and a four-channel programmable voltage source with a range of +-200 V and a current source with a maximum output of 7 A for filament heating.

  • This is a system for special chord resonant strain gauges for Temelin nuclear power plant. The system provides local or remote control via RS485 and consists of a measurement unit and 5 relay MUXes with a total capacity of 320 sensors. The system has been running on both blocks since 2000.

  • CMS1 - complete DAQ and control system 16-bit DA, 16-bit AD, lock-in amplifier controlled over galvanically isolated USB for Weizmann institute of science, Israel for research of single atom contacts.

  • LNVS1 - 4 channel voltage source consists from 2 x 26-bit DACs with linearity below 1 ppm and noise below 0.1 ppm and 2 independent and galvanically isolated 16-bit DACs controlled over galvanically isolated USB for Weizmann institute of science, Israel.

  • IVAMP1 - I/V amplifier- a simplified replacement of SR570 or DLPCA-200 with an improved specification, especially significantly lower voltage noise, for Weizmann institute of science, Israel for research of single atom contacts. A detailed description of transimpedance amplifiers is here.

  • Excitation and evaluation electronics for scanning thermal microscope for Czech metrological institute Brno.

  • Ultra-low distortion oscillators for calibration purposes in a range 10 Hz to 2 MHz with THD -140 dB (2kHz) -120 dB (50 kHz) to -100 dB (2 MHz) for Czech Technical University Prague. A detailed description is here. The oscillator together with a notch is available in a form of the populated PCBs with frequency upon request. There are also available unpopulated PCBs for DIY and a boxed version.

  • High-performance data logger for seismic events with dynamic range 140 dB, low power 100 mW, data storage on SD cards, GPS time synchronisation.
